The showroom floor

The things people ask AI to build.

Each one is a real conversation with Claude: the prompts, the screenshots, the files it wrote, what broke, and how to put it online.

How every page works

Set up once, chat, and GitHub puts it live. No terminal, nothing to install.

Set up once
free accounts

Set up once

Free Claude, GitHub and Cloudflare accounts, made in your browser. Connect Cloudflare to your GitHub repository once, and every change you save there goes live by itself.

Prompts
5 per page

Prompts, in plain English

Describe what you want, attach a screenshot of a site you like, and ask for changes as you go. We ran every prompt and kept what came back, unedited and tested.

Put it live
GitHub → Cloudflare

Upload to GitHub, and it's live

On the Free plan you upload Claude's files to GitHub in your browser and Cloudflare publishes them. On Pro, Claude Code on the web saves its changes to GitHub for you. Each page gives the clicks.

Time and money, honestly

What it took, and what it costs.

That's how long Claude spent writing its replies. Reading them, downloading the files and uploading them to GitHub takes longer, and we'd rather time a real beginner than guess.

Cost

Free plan

Small builds like these fit Cloudflare's free plan. Your domain name is the usual cost, paid to whoever you buy it from.

The pages themselves (static assets)
"Requests to static assets are free and unlimited"
Worker requests
100,000 a day, resetting at midnight UTC; 10 ms of CPU per request
D1 database reads
5 million rows a day
D1 database writes
100,000 rows a day
D1 storage
5 GB in total
An address without a domain
Every Worker gets a free workers.dev address

Each build page says which of these it uses. Claude's Free plan covers every build here; the set-up page says what it does and doesn't include.

What you need

Two free accounts. Nothing to install.

Everything on this site is made in a Claude chat and put live on Cloudflare from your browser. Set them up once, with what each screen looks like.

  • A free Claude account, with file creation switched on so it can hand you the files. Our runs used claude-sonnet-5-5.free plan
  • A free Cloudflare account, where the pages, any Worker and any database live.free plan
  • GitHub, if you want each change to go live by itself. Claude can read your files there; you upload the changes.optional
  • Your own domain, if you want one. Optional: Cloudflare gives every Worker a free workers.dev address.optional

The honesty rule

If Claude gets something wrong, the page says so. We never fix its files by hand: a fix is a follow-up prompt you can see and copy. If the prompts change, the build is re-run. Across 10 pages that's 60 things, each listed where it happened.

The publisher

We also build these properly.

Ours: made by the same studio that runs this site. I Want AI To is published by Adapt Progress Evolve Limited, which also makes these. None of them changes what a page tells you.

Questions

Free, really? What everyone asks first.

Cost answers come from Cloudflare's own documentation, read on 1 October 2026; the sources are listed above.

Cost 2

Is it really free to put these on Cloudflare?
For builds this size, yes. The pages are static assets, which Cloudflare serves free and without limit. A Worker gets 100,000 requests a day on the free plan, and a D1 database gives 5 million row reads and 100,000 row writes a day with 5 GB of storage. A domain name is the usual cost, and it's optional.
What happens if I go over the free limits?
The daily Worker allowance resets at midnight UTC. Until then, a Worker over the limit returns Cloudflare error 1027, and D1 returns errors once its daily read or write limit is used up.

How it works 4

Do I need to use a terminal or install anything?
No. You type in a Claude chat, download the files it makes, and upload them to your GitHub repository in your browser (Add file, then Upload files). Cloudflare is connected to that repository and puts each change live by itself. Each page keeps the command-line route in a collapsed section for developers, and you can ignore it.
Can Claude put it online for me?
Not from a chat on the Free plan, as of October 2026: Claude's GitHub connector reads your files but can't save changes. You upload the files yourself, and Cloudflare publishes them. On Claude Pro ($20 a month), Claude Code on the web edits your repository and saves the change to a branch; you merge it on GitHub and Cloudflare puts it live. We ran that on 1 October 2026; the set-up page shows what happened.
Will Claude give me exactly the same thing?
Probably not word for word: Claude's replies vary between runs and between models. That's why every page names the model and the date, and shows the whole transcript, so you can see what a good answer looks like and spot when yours goes off course.
Did you fix the code before showing it?
No. The files on every page are exactly what Claude wrote. When something was wrong we either sent a follow-up prompt, which you'll see as a step, or listed it under what it got wrong.

Describe what your website is about.

I'd like a small website and I've never made one. I'm Tom. In my spare time I walk canal towpaths and write short notes about each walk, and I'd like a website called "Tom's Towpath Walks" to put them on. On it I'd like: - a home page that says what the site is and shows my latest walks - a page with all my walks. There are four so far. For each one: its name, where it starts and finishes, how many miles, roughly how long it takes, who it's good for (like "pushchairs" or "pub at the end") and a short note - a few lines about me - a way to email me (tom@example.com). I don't want a form. I'm not technical, and I want it to be free to run. Before you make anything, ask me anything you need to know, and tell me in plain English what you're going to make.
